Nasir Mason, 25, died in the shooting on Sunday, Oct. 13, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said in a news release on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Camden County police responded to a ShotSpotter activation for shots fired on the 1900 block of Kossuth Street in Camden at around 4:02 p.m. Officers found Mason and he was rushed to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:30 p.m.
No arrests have been announced as of press time. The investigation was ongoing.
A visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Mt. Ephraim Avenue at 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, according to his obituary. A funeral prayer service will follow at 11 a.m.
